Every year, thousands of students and young people start their first job at ICA. For many this is the start of an exciting career. Do you want to be a part of building the retail of the future? Right now we are in our perhaps most exciting phase ever. We work with students who are curious about innovation and have interesting ideas about everything from digital transformation and e-commerce to food and logistics. Current topics for Swedish thesis and essays are published as job ads on our page with available jobs, through which you can apply. If you’d rather write your thesis or essay about a local ICA store, please turn directly to the store you are interested in.
In our collaboration with Sigma, we’re looking for you who see the possibilities with digital innovation, and have the ambition to bring ICA into the future. We accept applications from those with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT. Through our program you get a unique opportunity to digitalise and streamline ICA’s work together with a group of driven junior consultants. After successfully completing the program, you will be offered a position at ICA. The application for the program is made via Sigma.
ICA has an extensive collaboration with Center for Retailing (CFR) at the Stockholm School of Economics. Students within the Retail Management program are participating in workshops, company visits, lectures, and essay writing with us. A lot of the students from CFR work extra at ICA, and apply for permanent positions after graduation.
As part of working to create gender equality in the tech area, we are a co-creating partner for Women In Tech. The organisation's purpose is to inspire women to choose a future within tech, and encourage them to continuously grow in the field. This is done by promoting women in the industry and networking. As a co-creating partner, we participate in Women In Tech's annual conference and conduct meet-ups together with Women in Tech.
Tjejer Kodar is the leading actor in coding courses and programming training for women in Sweden. Tjejer Kodar lowers the thresholds and makes more women try programming, while making more women want to continue their careers in IT. Through our partnership, ICA are working directly to improve gender equality in IT and tech.
ICA Business Services is collaborating with Mälardalen University Student Union for Economics and Business Management. Through our partnership we offer job opportunities within ICA Business Service and participate in the student activities offered by Mälekon.
